We have a lot of catching up to do on "Hello Zoë!"

The good news is that daddy's big union election was a success—yay!—which means he will have more time for blogging than he's had recently.

Ok, so, Mommy and Daddy and Zoë flew to Virginia about five weeks ago for Grandpat, Nanna, and Kalena's birthdays …(screen goes all wavy in old-style TV flashback…) …

At the airport, Zoë got a phone call!

Hello, this is Zoë!

Zoë had a banana!

Everyone had fun at the big birthday dinner.

Kalena was 6! Grandpat was a little older.

Zoë had peas and corn!

Marek took pictures!

That's Jeff, Anne, and Omi on the left, & Opa on the right! It was hard to take good pictures in the restaurant. Marek tried to take a picture of daddy with his mouth full of an icing flower from Kalena's birthday cake.

Aunt Sabra was there too!

She and Zoë played with balloons:

Aunt Lucille and Uncle Marc got on like gangbusters!

Zoë got to sit with both her granddads!

Do you think Marek is serious—or silly?

Happy Birthday, Kalena! (& Nanna & Grandpat too!)
