Mazel Tov!
Doree and Dan got married last weekend!
It was a big weekend-long wedding, starting with a picnic on Saturday!

Zoë make a lot of new friends—like April and Craig!
April is a consrvation biologist; she's working on her Ph.D.! Craig is an entomologist, which means he knows a lot about bugs! His favorite bug is the velvet ant, which is really a kind of wasp.
Fergus made a lot of friends, too!
That's his super-happy face!
…and also got in some good stick-chewing time!
Zoë went on the swings with Daddy!
It's fun to look up when you're on the swings and look at the leaves.
…then Zoë went on the big swing all by herself!
…then Zoë went on the swings with her new friend Georgia!

Georgia was at the picnic with her mommy Megan:
Georgia says "let's go on the jungle gym!"

Zoë wants to go too!

That night, there was a wonderful dinner.
The food was delicious!

There were some funny speeches; however, due to space limitations, we can only print the punchlines.
Doree's sister: "…we never thought Doree would marry the nice Jewish boy from the temple!"
Jenn & Mark: "…so we want you all to sign this kite-tuba!"
Dan's grad school friends: "…we found Dan lying under the coffee table reading a book he'd placed face-down on the glass table-top!"
A good time was had by all!
The next day was Sunday. Everyone got all dressed up for the wedding!

Zoë got some new shoes just for the wedding!
It was beautiful place for a wedding—a long walk down from an old mansion to a patio overlooking a lake:

It was a beautiful wedding.

And after the wedding, there was a big reception! Mazel tov, Doree & Dan!

We spent a lot of the afternoon with Georgia and her mommies!
That's Megan on the right—she looks different without her glasses!—and Sarah on the left. Megan is a lawyer and Sarah is an Anthropology professor!
