On Top of the World

Back in May, we had a wonderful vacation at a big resort!


There were lots of things to do there -- like face-painting...


...croquet...


...and archery!

One of the rules was you had to get dressed up for dinner on the weekends. Here's Sam!

Birthday Parties!

Last weekend, we drove all night for a special birthday party!



Zoë was a little sleepy when we got there.


Whose birthday party was it?


Aunt Zuzu and Uncle John's!

It was quite a party! Nanna was there!

Zoë got to meet her cousins Cammie and Elizabeth for the first time!

This morning, there was another birthday party -- for Jack!

The party was in honor of SUE, who defended her dissertation this week! Congratulations, Sue!

It was a great party; one highlight was a cherry-pit-spitting contest!


Sue was the judge -- she has a Ph.D. in mathematics.


Everyone tried their hardest -- Zoë too!
